You can get a full refund of a licence year within 30 days of its start. You don't have to say why.

Karmik isn't sold by checkout until an Enterprise agreement exists.

A full refund within 30 days

You can get a full refund of a licence year within 30 days of its start. This is the same whether you paid for the year in full or in monthly instalments. We refund to your payment method. If you paid by bank transfer, we refund by bank transfer. Your licence ends when we refund it, and any instalments still to come are cancelled. After 30 days, your one-year contract commitment becomes final and irrevocable, instalments included. You do not have to say why, and you do not have to have installed anything.

A bundle is refunded whole. You can't refund one product from it.

A seat pool is one licence. A refund within the 30 days covers every seat in it.

The law gives a consumer 14 days to cancel a purchase. These 14 days are part of the 30 days above. If you buy as a consumer, you keep it even after you've downloaded Karmik. Nothing at checkout asks you to give it up.

Where to ask for it

• The purchase email. The email that delivers your Karmik licence has a refund link. It works for the 30 days.
• Your download page. The page your download link opens has the same link.
• The dashboard. Karmik's licence panel has Ask for a refund, for the 30 days.

Any one of them is enough. If you can't reach any of them, write to hello@polyglyphanalytica.com with the receipt we sent you. We'll do it by hand.

What happens next

We refund to your payment method. Your copy stops working when the refund goes through, and the download link stops with it. If you dispute the payment with your bank instead (a chargeback), the licence ends.

Renewals

Your licence renews into the next year by default, paid the same way. You can turn renewal off in Karmik's licence panel before the year ends. While card payments are off, renewal sends you an invoice. It never charges a card. If you bought a licence once before, it keeps its twelve months of updates. After that, you move to an annual licence, paid in full or in 12 monthly instalments.

After 30 days

After 30 days, your one-year contract commitment becomes final and irrevocable, instalments included. Your copy keeps working for as long as you like, at the version it is entitled to, unless it has been changed in a way the licence doesn't allow. If something is wrong with it, write and tell us what. A real person reads it.
